Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for the circulating nurse role and assist with scrub duties when needed
- Circulate in multiple specialty areas, including Orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, General, Ophthalmology, and Dental
- Support the nursing process: assessment, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation for the perioperative patient
- Maintain sterile technique, ensure patient safety, and manage equipment and instrumentation for procedures
- Prepare for emergency cases on short notice and participate in on-call coverage as required

Requirements
- Licensure: Valid RN license from any state (AZ licensure not required)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association); NIHSS (stroke scale) within 6 months of hire
- Additional certifications: CNOR within 12 months of hire; TNCC within 2 years of hire
- Education: Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Experience: Two (2) years of clinical nursing and/or operating room experience
- Orientation: Scheduled every 2 weeks; ability to work in a perioperative setting and be flexible with on-call requirements
