As a Network Engineer, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of NETCOM. You will play a crucial role in providing engineering solutions and support to improve network performance, defense, and security for the Department of Defense Information Network-Army (DoDIN-A) Enterprise.
Lead/Manage/Support the design and development of critical voice, video, radio frequency, and data communications networks to ensure robust availability and security for the mission
Collaborate with operational organizations and cross-functional teams to implement Request for Changes (RFCs) and maintain Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) compliance
Drive network enhancements and innovative technical solutions by applying the engineering design process to solve complex performance and security challenges
Utilize industry-leading technologies to monitor network integrity, configure essential network devices (routers, switches, firewalls), and ensure NetOps capability integration WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
Experience: 2+ years of related experience
Technical skills: Experience with network configuration (routers, switches, firewalls), VPN Concentrators, Microsoft enterprise products, and NetOps tools.
Security clearance level: Secret

The likely salary range for this position is $89,250 - $120,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
