You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to deliver vital occupational therapy services that address a broad range of student needs: from enhancing fine and gross motor skills to supporting sensory processing and adaptive strategies for daily classroom participation.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license (or the ability to obtain one before start date)
• Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy or as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) strongly preferred
• Proficiency in developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized therapy plans
• Comfort with both in-person and teletherapy service delivery models
• Commitment to fostering functional, academic, and social-emotional growth for each student
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy assessments and write individualized goals for students receiving services
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy focused on fine and gross motor skill development, sensory processing, and school-based needs
• Guide and mentor COTAs in adhering to established treatment protocols
• Consult with teachers and families to promote classroom accommodations and student self-advocacy
• Maintain detailed progress notes, session logs, and required documentation adhering to best practices and compliance
• Travel between assigned campuses as needed within the district
