Position: Full-Time Live Out Cook and Housekeeper
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–6pm with ocassional weekends
Salary: $30-$35/Hour

About the Family:

This busy and active family is seeking a cook and housekeeper whoexcels at time management and has the ability to handle a diverse range of daily responsibilities. A typical workday would involve arriving at 8 AM and departing at 6 PM, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of occasional Sunday shifts to allow for the completion of any outstanding work duties as needed.

The day would begin with the candidate preparing breakfast for the family, followed by running light errands such as grocery shopping for healthy meals or making Amazon returns. The middle of the day would provide time for the candidate to prepare lunch and complete light cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout the home. In the evenings, the candidate would be responsible for preparing dinner for the family and ensuring the household is tidy before leaving for the day.

Additionally, the role may require the candidate to travel a minimum of once per month to the family’s other properties, which include a lake home and a hunting ranch. A love for the outdoors and comfort with travel would be a huge plus to this family.

Responsibilities

• Cook breakfast, lunch and dinner for the family
• Keep home clean (they have a cleaning schedule for the home that has worked for them in the past)
• Let dogs in and out of the house throughout the day
• Ocassional errands
• Organizing pantry and home

Ideal Candidate & Personality:

The ideal candidate for this position will possess exceptional communication skills and be highly organized. They are seeking an individual who genuinely enjoys cleaning, cooking, and caring for pets. The right candidate must love dogs, as the client has two beloved canine companions whose care, including feeding, walking, and cleaning up after them, is a required part of the role.

Cooking responsibilities will involve grocery shopping and preparing three healthy meals per day for the family. The client’s residence is 7,000 square foot home, and the successful applicant must be willing to follow the established cleaning schedule that has worked well for the client’s previous housekeepers.

Additionally, the ideal candidate must be open to traveling at least once a month to one of the client’s other homes located throughout the United States. Many of the travel days are on the weekends so flexibility is required. When the client travels to other destinations, they require the candidate to be able to remain at the primary residence to care for the dogs.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a similar role in a private household
