Job Description

• We are seeking a Customer Service Representative 2 to join our team in Glendale. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in customer support, order processing, and issue resolution and a proven ability to handle complex inquiries, reconcile transactions, and ensure accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Confer with customers by phone or in person to provide information on products, services, licenses, registrations, titles, permits, or program eligibility.
• Take or enter orders, process cancellations, and obtain details of complaints.
• Verify and implement appropriate changes to resolve customer issues and document actions taken.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries, complaints, and comments.
• Resolve service or billing complaints by exchanging merchandise, refunding money, or adjusting bills as appropriate.
• Complete contract forms, prepare change-of-address records, and issue service discontinuance orders using computer systems.
• Refer unresolved grievances to designated departments for further investigation.
• Determine charges for requested services, collect deposits or payments, and arrange for billing.
• Contact customers to respond to inquiries and communicate claim investigation results or planned adjustments.
• Perform journey-level customer service tasks requiring discretion in releasing information and interpreting policies and procedures.
• Conduct research, compile information, and analyze guidelines to resolve issues.
• Handle cash-related tasks, including adding money receipts, reconciling cash, and preparing and transmitting daily deposits to the bank or state treasurer’s office.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Customer service experience in a high-volume or public-facing environment.
• Ability to follow established guidelines and standard operating procedures.
• Proven skill in solving difficult customer complaints and problems with sound judgment.
• Proficiency with computers for data entry, recordkeeping, and transaction processing.

Preferred Skills:

• Bilingual capability.
