Accountabilities

• Install, maintain, and repair water mains, service lines, fire hydrants, and valves
• Perform leak detection, flushing, and testing to ensure water quality and system efficiency
• Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles safely and effectively
• Respond to water service issues, main breaks, and customer concerns in a timely manner
• Follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance
• Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• Arizona Grade I Water Distribution Operator Certification (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe)
• Previous experience in water distribution, construction, or utility work
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
