Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Treatment Coordinator
Job Description
Job Description
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Treatment Coordinator – Join Our Growing Southeast Valley Practice ( Chandler and San Tan Valley)! Are you an experienced coordinator who loves turning complex treatment plans into clear, confident next steps for patients?
Do you thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment where your communication skills and empathy make a real difference every day? We're a respected, high-volume oral and maxillofacial surgery practice, specializing in life-changing procedures like wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, bone grafting, jaw surgery, and much more. Our patients come to us often feeling anxious—we help them leave feeling informed, supported, and excited about their results. We're looking for a motivated, patient-centered Treatment Coordinator to join our collaborative team and help us deliver exceptional care.
Position Highlights
- Full-time schedule
- Competitive salary based on experience (with potential for bonuses tied to performance/case acceptance)
- Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, etc
- Modern, supportive office environment focused on work-life balance and team success
Your Key Responsibilities
- Present and explain treatment plans recommended by the doctor—breaking down procedures, benefits, timelines, recovery, and costs in a clear, compassionate way
- Verify insurance benefits, handle pre-authorizations, submit claims, and create tailored financial options (payment plans, financing, etc.) to remove barriers for patients
- Schedule surgeries, consultations, and follow-ups while coordinating seamlessly with referring dentists and our clinical team
- Provide outstanding patient education, answer questions, manage concerns, and deliver top-tier customer service from first contact through post-op
- Collaborate closely with surgeon, assistants, and front office staff to keep schedules optimized and patient experiences smooth
What We're Looking For
- Required: Prior experience as a Treatment Coordinator (dental, oral surgery, and medical field strongly preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills—able to educate and reassure patients effectively
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy practice
- Comfortable discussing financial arrangements and helping patients find affordable solutions
- Positive, professional, team-oriented attitude with genuine compassion for patients
- Familiarity with dental/medical insurance processes and practice management software is a big plus (we'll train the right person!)
Why You'll Love Working Here
- Work in a highly regarded oral and maxillofacial surgery practice where your role directly impacts patient confidence and outcomes
- Be part of a close-knit, collaborative team that values your input and supports your growth
- Enjoy stability in a busy, established practice with opportunities to advance
- Make a meaningful difference—help patients overcome fears and achieve better oral health and smiles
If this sounds like the rewarding next step in your career, we'd love to meet you! How to Apply
