Winsupply is in the business of creating and enabling entrepreneurs to achieve their dreams through wholesale distribution. Winsupply is a group of over 680 locally-owned companies that operate across a variety of industries, including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and more. The purpose of Winsupply Sourcing Services and its Distribution Center (DC) network is to be a preferred vendor and partner of Local Companies. This is achieved through premier supply chain services at its seven DCs to provide Winsupply entrepreneurs and their customers the inventory they need, when they need it, from over 200 vendor suppliers.
Job DescriptionThe associate position is integral to maintaining efficient warehouse distribution and inventory control. Operating with general instruction from management, the role requires a clear understanding of basic process flows to execute core activities, including but not limited to, accurate product receiving, accurate order selection, and accurate shipping. Key duties involve utilization of Material Handling Equipment- specifically class 1 or 3 trucks, RF scanners, and the ability to operate packaging machinery (banding, stretch wrap, etc.) to expertly prepare products for transportation in and out of the warehouse.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Ability to work either 10:30am-7:00pm, or 2:00pm-10:00pm.
- Receiving Product: Upon receiving product, unload, crate, prepare for receiving, breakdown, and put-away product.
- Shipping Product: When shipping product, pick, crate, prepare for shipping, palletize, and load product.
- Achieve and maintain established productivity and accuracy standards for all assigned tasks.
- Accurately scan all product movement using the Warehouse Management System and/or RF Scanners.
- Report any damaged material, short quantities or discrepancies to management immediately.
- Notify management immediately concerning facility issues and needs.
- Return all equipment to correct storage areas at the end of each day.
- Count inventory within assigned areas for inventory accuracy.
- Utilize proper lifting techniques and ask for help when necessary.
- Attend all safety training meetings.
- Utilize all proper lifting techniques, and report all work-related injuries to management.
- Comply with governmental safety regulations (OSHA and MSDS).
- Adhere to all building safety protocols, and immediately report all safety violations to management.
- All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to work either 10:30am-7:00pm, or 2:00pm-10:00pm.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings, including drug test and background check.
- Proficient on at least one piece of MHE (Class I and/or Class III).
- Needs to have basic math skills in order to quickly and accurately count, multiple and divide.
- Must be able to use a handheld scanning device and navigate through multiple screens.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or its equivalent.
- Other warehouse experience a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills, work ethic and attention to detail.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations:
- Mobility: Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, and kneel for the duration of an 8–10 hour shift.
- Strength: Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Coordination: Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to handle small parts or operate machinery.
- Environment: Capability to work in a fast-paced, industrial environment.
