Compensation: $140 - $160 / hr

Care Setting: High-Acuity Labor & Delivery | Hospital-Based Only

Position Summary

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist to join a top-tier inpatient team at a leading Phoenix hospital. This part-time role is ideal for physicians who want to stay clinically engaged without the demands of a full-time schedule. Focus exclusively on inpatient care—no clinics, no outpatient follow-ups—in a highly collaborative and high-acuity environment.

Schedule

• Part-Time Commitment: 3–4 shifts per month
• Shift Length Options: 24-hour or 12-hour shifts available
• No on-call required outside of scheduled shifts

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $140–$160 per hour (based on experience and shift model)
• Malpractice Insurance: Provided with full tail coverage
• Licensing & Credentialing Reimbursement: Included

Note: As a part-time role, full-time benefits (health, PTO, 401k) are not included.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage laboring patients, including high-risk and emergent presentations
• Perform vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and urgent gynecologic surgeries
• Respond to OB consults from emergency and inpatient departments
• Collaborate closely with nurses, anesthesiologists, and midwives
• Maintain timely and accurate EMR documentation

Ideal Candidate Profile

• MD or DO from an accredited U.S. medical school
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Completed ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency
• Holds or is eligible for Arizona medical licensure
• Prior inpatient OB experience or hospitalist work preferred
• Skilled in managing emergencies and team-based care models
