Exercise Controller

Responsibilities

MIITS Fort Huachuca is hiring an Exercise Controller responsible for creating and executing realistic computer based scenarios to train and evaluate military intelligence professionals' ability to exercise the Military Decision Making Process.

The Exercise Controller will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

• Generating predefined and dynamic based message traffic, personalities, background reports, and finished intelligence products using Simulations systems and manual processes
• Perform database updates, prepare message routing and verify message delivery, conduct pre-exercise communication exercises, respond to requests for information and instructor approved tasking and collection requests, and provide ad-hoc maneuver adjustments to facilitate the completion of training objectives
• Operate simulation and simulation support systems, conduct systems testing, and modification of simulation databases and systems
• Perform basic systems and software troubleshooting.
• Prepare, maintain and distribute technical and user instructional documentation, develop and document systems requirements

Qualifications

What you will need:

Required qualifications:

• 2 years with BS/BA; 6 years with no degree

• Military Intelligence background

• Must be able to work shift work
• Must have a current/active Top Secret/SCI clearance

Desired Qualifications:

• TS/SCI with C/I Poly
• CompTIA Security Plus
• Familiarity with the Intelligence Electronic Warfare Tactical Proficiency Trainer (IEWTPT)
• Familiarity with ISR capabilities and Order of Battle
• Familiarity with the Army Intelligence Data Platform (AIDP), Distributed Common Ground System - Army (DCGS-A), Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE), and other Intelligence and Command computing systems.

Target Salary Range

$51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
