Job Description:
Our client is looking for a dynamic, strategic, energetic, results-obsessed Regional Sales Director to lead strategic sales execution across a dynamic, high-potential territory in the Southwestern US region. We are looking for a leader focused on driving revenue growth, building powerful and dynamic sales teams, and market expansion within the fiber optics telecommunication sector. This position involves developing and executive sales strategies, managing sales teams, building client relationships, profitability and achieving sales targets.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and execute bold sales strategies that accelerate growth, expand market share, and elevate team performance.
- Use Salesforce and analytics to uncover trends, guide decisions, and fuel smarter, faster execution.
- Partner with Sales Managers to drive accountability, sharpen execution, and build a culture of high performance.
- Align with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless go-to-market strategies and unforgettable customer experiences.
- Identify new markets, tools, and tactics-and bring forward bold recommendations that move the business.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top-tier talent that thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- Lead performance reviews and coaching sessions that keep teams focused, aligned, and fired up.
- Navigate transformation with clarity and conviction-rallying your team around shared goals and a winning mindset.
- Be a force for innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the sales organization.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- BS Degree or equivalent experience looking for grit, self-drive, and results.
- 5+ years of experience in Telecommunications Sales
- 5+ years of Sales Management experience in the telecommunications or technology industry.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record in building and executive sales strategies
- Prefer leadership experience in managing geographically dispersed teams
- Strong negotiating skills, proactive problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous track record of building and leading high-performing teams that deliver measurable results.
- Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office utilizing metrics and turning data into strategy.
- A valid driver's license-and a readiness to lead from the front.
