Assembler - 1st and 2nd Shift

Location: Mesa, AZ

Shift Differential: 10%

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assembler to perform mechanical assembly of components and subassemblies in a modern manufacturing environment. This role requires working from engineering drawings, using hand and power tools, conducting quality inspections, and supporting production goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble components and subassemblies following drawings, schematics, and work instructions
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Perform quality inspections and functional testing
• Follow production schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and maintain quality standards
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
• Train and mentor junior assemblers as needed
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Work overtime when required to meet production demands

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Lean manufacturing experience is a plus

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.30/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
