Med-Mal Associate A respected Phoenix litigation firm trusted by Arizona’s largest hospitals and healthcare providers is seeking a Med-Mal Associate to defend what matters most: patient care and professional integrity. Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr Med-Mal Associate Responsibilities Manage a 10 - 15 case docket of medical malpractice defense matters Conduct deep case evaluation, including witness interviews, discovery analysis, expert involvement Draft pleadings, motions, disclosures, and discovery requests/responses Take and defend depositions Argue motions and appear for hearings in state/federal court Develop case strategy alongside partners and nurse consultants Support all phases of trial preparation and courtroom participation Communicate professionally with clients, co-counsel, and opposing counsel Track deadlines and enter billable time accurately Med-Mal Requirements 2 - 5 years of civil litigation experience Arizona bar admission Strong legal writing and analytical skills with a proactive mindset Team-first approach, humility, and professional communication skills Commitment to honest billing and delivering excellent client service Direct med-mal experience or defense-side background preferred Aptitude for medical concepts and expert-driven litigation preferred Benefits Billable bonus paid on hours >1900/yr at your hourly salary rate Unlimited PTO 401(k) with company match + profit sharing Medical, dental, and vision options Paid holidays + paid office closures around Christmas & New Year’s Travel reimbursed for litigation needs Apply today and join a firm where good people do great work together. #J-18808-Ljbffr Boutique Recruiting
