Responsibilities Awaiting You

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and creating customized care strategies
• Diagnosing and treating various health conditions, working in tandem with physicians or autonomously (based on credentials)
• Empowering patients and their families through education on care, prevention, and health management
• Prescribing medications and therapies based on the scope of practice
• Engaging in follow-up care and managing chronic conditions

• Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Essential Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program

Certification Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Arizona
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or the appropriate specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within the first 90 days)
