We are seeking an experienced Ready Mix Order Taker - Shipper who is responsible for order taking and shipping to facilitate the deployment of our goods and services. Prior ready mix dispatching experience preferred.

Location: 100% on-site – Phoenix, AZ 85043

Schedule: Monday–Saturday availability, typically 7:00 AM–4:00 PM. Hours may vary based on business needs.

Job Duties

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Taking orders from customers via Command Series Software, input orders into the system as they are requested and help assist customers in identifying proper products needed for specific end uses.
• Complete order intake and assist customers in identifying proper products needed for specific end uses.
• Print Tickets and ship orders using the Command System for plants.
• Constantly review schedules and customer orders throughout the day to anticipate business trucking demands.
• Complete required daily reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ready mix industry experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center, dispatching, or similar environment.
• Previous dispatch software experience preferred.
• Computer literacy required including but not limited to Microsoft office products and the ability to type 40+ WPM.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions, and manage changing priorities while providing excellent customer service to both our customers and our drivers.
• Strong knowledge of Phoenix and surrounding areas.
• Ability to work weekends as needed.
• Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Command Alkon Series software experience a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check in accordance with applicable law.
