Job Overview

Marketech International Corporation USA is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Modeler – Chemical Systems to support BIM modeling, design coordination, and construction documentation for semiconductor, high-tech, industrial, and cleanroom facility projects.

This role is responsible for developing, updating, and maintaining accurate 3D BIM models related to chemical process systems, chemical delivery systems, process piping, utility piping, equipment layouts, tool-install support, and related facility infrastructure. The Modeler – Chemical Systems will work closely with engineers, project managers, BIM coordinators, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure models, drawings, and technical documentation are accurate, coordinated, constructible, and aligned with project requirements.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience using Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination tools, along with exposure to chemical process systems, piping layouts, P&IDs, PFDs, construction drawings, and active construction environments. Experience supporting semiconductor, high-tech, cleanroom, industrial, chemical, or process facility projects is highly preferred.

Key ResponsibilitiesBIM Modeling & Design Support

• Develop, update, and maintain 3D BIM models for chemical process systems, chemical delivery systems, process piping, equipment layouts, utility systems, and related facility infrastructure.
• Create and revise detailed layouts for piping, supports, equipment, routing, valves, fittings, system components, and installation clearances.
• Generate accurate 2D construction drawings, including plan views, elevations, sections, details, and drawing sheets from 3D BIM models.
• Support model development for chemical delivery systems, process utilities, high-purity piping systems, tool-install scopes, and supporting facility infrastructure.
• Review and update models based on design revisions, field changes, redlines, RFIs, coordination comments, and project feedback.
• Ensure BIM models accurately reflect project design intent, system requirements, construction sequencing, installation conditions, and approved project standards.
• Assist with model extracts, coordination drawings, routing studies, installation layouts, and other project-specific deliverables.

Coordination, Clash Detection & Quality Control

• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, BIM coordinators, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure model accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and provide updates on assigned modeling tasks, open coordination items, model progress, and upcoming deliverables.
• Perform clash-detection reviews and identify conflicts, discrepancies, clearance issues, and constructability concerns within BIM models.
• Assist in resolving clashes involving piping, equipment, supports, utilities, cable trays, structural elements, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and other building infrastructure.
• Coordinate chemical-system models with mechanical, electrical, structural, process, architectural, facility, and tool-install teams.
• Review models and drawings for accuracy, completeness, consistency, constructability, and alignment with project standards.
• Support quality-control checks for model updates, drawing revisions, naming conventions, file management, and construction documentation.
• Communicate design changes, routing conflicts, coordination requirements, and outstanding issues clearly to internal and external project stakeholders.

Documentation & Project Support

• Maintain accurate design files, BIM models, project records, model revisions, drawing logs, coordination reports, and as-built documentation.
• Support the preparation, review, and revision of construction drawings, shop drawings, installation drawings, and field documentation.
• Review P&IDs, PFDs, equipment layouts, piping plans, piping isometrics, specifications, and construction documents to ensure models align with system requirements.
• Assist with as-built updates based on field changes, installation progress, redlines, inspection findings, and project closeout requirements.
• Support engineers and project teams with technical documentation, model extracts, drawing updates, coordination materials, and project presentations.
• Help ensure BIM files, drawings, and technical records remain organized, current, and accessible throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to improve BIM workflows, documentation practices, coordination processes, and model quality.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Drafting, BIM, CAD, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
• Experience using Revit and AutoCAD for BIM modeling, drafting, construction documentation, or project coordination.
• Previous experience in BIM modeling, process piping, chemical systems, utility systems, mechanical systems, facility infrastructure, or construction documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, piping layouts, system diagrams, P&IDs, PFDs, equipment layouts, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with 3D model development, drawing production, design revisions, and construction coordination workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple updates, revisions, coordination comments, and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with engineers, project managers, subcontractors, vendors, BIM coordinators, and field teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Detail-oriented, organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction and engineering environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting semiconductor, high-tech, cleanroom, industrial, chemical, manufacturing, or process-facility construction projects.
• Experience with chemical process systems, chemical delivery systems, process piping, high-purity piping, utility piping, or tool-install projects.
• Experience supporting BIM/VDC coordination in an active construction environment.
• Familiarity with Navisworks, BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revit coordination workflows, or clash-detection processes.
• Experience working on or supporting active construction sites.
• Familiarity with P&IDs, PFDs, equipment layouts, piping isometrics, piping supports, and construction-documentation processes.
• Knowledge of semiconductor facility systems, tool-install projects, cleanroom construction, or high-purity process environments.
• Bilingual English/Mandarin Chinese communication skills are a plus, but not required.

Work Environment

This role may involve a combination of office-based BIM modeling, engineering coordination, and project-site support. The Modeler – Chemical Systems may work closely with engineers, construction teams, subcontractors, client representatives, and field personnel to support active semiconductor and industrial facility projects.

The position requires the ability to manage changing design priorities, respond to urgent coordination needs, maintain accurate technical documentation, and collaborate effectively across multiple project disciplines in a fast-paced construction and engineering environment.
