RESPONSIBILITIES
The Lead Massage Therapist is primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Massage Providers, guest contact/recovery, inventory maintenance, ensuring overall guest satisfaction, and brand and cleanliness standards
- Supervise and/or conduct training for all new providers, including contractors.
- Supervise and monitor provider interactions with guests.
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of the guest treatment experience.
- Provide information to all guests and providers regarding spa services, activities, and facilities. Must be knowledgeable of the Resort offerings and facilities as well.
- Communicate team needs and concerns to management.
- Assist with spa inventories, including Operating Supplies, Office Supplies, and Linen.
- Perform opening and closing procedures.
- Follow and help enforce all cleaning procedures.
- Perform all MOD functions, when necessary.
- Attend all mandatory meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
- One to two years’ experience, ideally.
- Willing and able to work all shifts including weekends/holidays
- Must have reliable transportation
- Previous hotel/resort experience preferred
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Knowledge/passion in Health & Wellness
- Strong problem-solving skills and able to multitask
- Willing and able to coach in the moment
- Proficient PC and software application skills
