Occupational Therapist | Prescott, AZ | Start 06/01/2026 | Duration 26 weeks | $2,179-$2,305 per week | 40 guaranteed hours | 8-hour shift | Travel - Temporary Assignment in a healthcare setting focused on inpatient and rehabilitation services
- Weekly pay: $2,179 - $2,305 per week
- Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week
- Contract duration: 26 weeks
- Shift: 8-hour days
- Start date: 06/01/2026
- Setting: inpatient/rehabilitation -oriented healthcare environment
- Travel assignment with dedicated clinical and administrative support Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing occupational therapy assessments to identify patient needs and determine appropriateness for therapy
- Develop, implement, and revise a Plan of Care (POC); document progress with timely progress notes and required clinical records
- Provide direct therapeutic interventions to improve range of motion, strength, coordination, and ADL performance; assess use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications; fabricate and maintain adaptive devices as needed
- Evaluate patient occupational performance across self-care, work, leisure, and rest; consider sensory-motor, psycho-social, and cognitive-perceptual factors and the patient’s environment
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team; consult with physicians and other health professionals regarding patient status; ensure effective communication while protecting patient confidentiality
- Adhere to infection control and universal precautions; assist with basic troubleshooting and setup of therapy equipment; document procedures and data for ongoing care planning Requirements
- Current, active state license as an Occupational Therapist
- Proof of current CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with adequate insurance
- Minimum of two years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting
- Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Benefits and Support
