Assistant Game Programmer
Responsible for coding all aspects of individual games and games-related interactive projects, for virtual worlds, websites, online and other mobile initiatives and applications. Responsibilities include writing and debugging computer code to develop games for a variety of platforms, creating the audio and video of the game. Game Developers maintain reports on their programming development, and each version of the game is recoded and tested until all the problems and flaws are eliminated.

02Essential Duties
- Manage the coding of individual games and games-related interactive applications including virtual worlds, websites, online and mobile initiatives, from pre-production to final product release, to meet defined budgets, schedules and quality benchmarks.
- Responsible for the timely delivery of the projects as a highly functional, usable experience.
- Create and manage schedule to ensure game development is completed in a timely manner.
- Continuously assess risk and keep scope of the project in line with budget and schedule but with an attention to quality.
- Participates as a member of a team, teaches others, serves clients, serves customers, exercises leadership, and works with cultural diversity.
- Identify and resolve conflicts between schedule, budget and development goals.
- Foster positive working relationships, teamwork and communication within the development teams.
- Identify, communicate, and direct key product design that will drive product success.
- Understands systems, uses technology.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Visual Design, Fine Arts, Communications, Cognitive Science or in a related commercial arts field.1 year experience in game design and/or production.
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of C++/C# computer languages and software.
- Academic experience with Unreal Engine 5.0 or later versions.
- Ability to identify opportunities for use of technology solutions to improve efficiency, coding, and playability of the game.
- Experience working with designers and programmers.
- Experience working collaboratively with users to ensure correct coding of the game.
- Experience in identification of game revisions, modifying game coding to improve performance.
- Experience in project management and organization.
- Demonstrated knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques of game development.
- Experience in effective teamwork and interpersonal relations.
- Experience in interpreting messages into visual and metaphorical form.
- Experience in effectively establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.

Working Environment
- Activities are primarily performed in a regular, climate controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, walking.
- Visual acuity and manual dexterity associated with daily use of desktop computer; bending, stooping, reaching and lifting up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to clearly communicate to perform essential duties.
