​ Facility Maintenance Supervisor
75,000 sq ft Nutraceutical GMP Manufacturing

We have an exciting career opportunity for a hands-on Maintenance Facility Supervisor. This position will supervise the assigned facility maintenance function as directed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing and maintaining a safe, secure and energy efficient modern 75,000 sf facility and cGMP compliant dietary supplement manufacturing plant in Phoenix, Arizona.
• Provide and manage the day-to-day operational responsibilities for the entire facility.
• Manage, administrate and supervise facility maintenance.
• Manage facility and maintenance services to ensure operational reliability.
• Oversee preventative maintenance compliance and effectiveness.
• Work with Management to plan and achieve operational improvements to reduce costs and to increase productivity.
• Resolve all daily occurring unexpected and facility technical problems related to area of responsibility.
• Ensure for all equipment in facility to be properly maintained and upgraded as needed.
• Provide daily logs including daily scheduled and nonscheduled work sheets and equipment PMs.
• Understand, complete, and maintain environmental documentation and equipment service contracts.
• Comply with established job safety practices, policies and procedures as specified in plant and corporate directives for the safe performance of the work assignment.
• Effectively communicate in person, and electronically to relay information to all parties.
• Candidate should be a motivated team player with good attitude and possess above average organizational and communication skills. Individual should be able to function well in a multi-task environment with attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Experienced with HVAC /Plant utility maintenance, including troubleshooting and repair.
• Prefer candidates experienced in one or more fields---plumbing, carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and or air-conditioning.
• Good computer skills and good with math.
• Enjoys teamwork and collaborating in a team environment.
• Willing to learn and grow.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project. Excellent computer skills and maintenance manager software experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Physical demands of position require you to walk, stand, bend and lift up to 8 hours each day.
• Possess excellent vision.
• Have excellent dexterity, needed in order to perform troubleshooting, maintenance and repair.
