Analyst

Akkodis is seeking an Analyst for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. Candidate must have practical experience conducting threat modeling for cloud or distributed systems with strong understanding of cloud security architectures in at least one major provider (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Rate Range: $37/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Analyst job responsibilities include:

• Develop structured threat models for cloud and distributed systems to identify architectural weaknesses.

• Translate threat modelling insights into reusable security patterns aligned with enterprise security standards.

• Conduct detailed security design reviews to uncover potential risks and propose corrective measures.

• Integrate approved security patterns into organizational threat modelling and certification platforms.

• Apply established threat and control frameworks (NIST, ISO, CIS, CAPEC, CWE) to strengthen cloud security posture.

• Collaborate with cloud architecture teams to ensure consistency and scalability of cloud security evaluations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related technical field.

• Experience required as specified in the job description.

• Strong understanding of cloud security architectures in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Practical experience conducting threat modelling and performing security design reviews for cloud or distributed systems.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $45.00 per hour
