Title:  Generalist, Utility

Reports to:  Part Lead

Location:  Phoenix, Arizona (555 N, 55th Ave., Phoenix, AZ)

Starting Pay: $24 per hour

Compensation is based on relevant skills, experience, and assigned shift.

This position operates on a rotating three-shift schedule. Employees assigned to afternoon or night shifts are eligible for shift premiums:

• Afternoon Shift: Additional 6% premium

Summary:

As a utility generalist, you will provide expertise of maintaining the facility utility operations 

Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Preventive maintenance execution in order to complete all PM tasks
  
• Troubleshoot the abrupt breakdown of utility facilities
  
• Monitoring utility operation
  - Lights
  - Compressed air – small
  - HVAC
  - Fire system – sprinklers and alarm
  - Generators
  - Dock and regular doors
  - Forklift/AGV chargers
  - Water – supply and sanitary
  - Security – locks, key card support, speed gates
  - Reporting writing – incidents, ppt
  - EMS-Equipment Management System
  - Demonstrate problem-solving methodology and reduce a loss of utility cost

  Follow the work procedure and comply with safety & standard

  Maintenance cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards

Qualifications:

• 
  
• High School Diploma or equivalent, relevant experience
  

Experience:

• 
  
• 
  
  

  1 to 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing setting as a maintenance/building technician

Skills:

• 
  
• 
  
  

  Exposure in a facilities setting, preferably in production facility

  
  
  
• 
  
  

  Experienced with the handling of Utility Facilities

  
  
  
• 
  
  

  Comfortable working independently and with others

  Technically proficient and motivated to continuously improve
