About the Opportunity

Join a thriving, well-established private surgical practice specializing in general and colorectal surgery in the East Valley. We are seeking a motivated and professional Physician Assistant (PA) to work closely with our surgeons in both operative and clinical settings. This position offers a diverse mix of surgical first-assist, clinic, and inpatient responsibilities in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• First assist in the operating room for a wide range of general and colorectal surgical procedures
• Conduct pre-operative, post-operative, and follow-up patient visits in the clinic
• Perform inpatient rounding and coordinate perioperative care
• Participate in patient education, documentation, and coordination of care
• Four (4) surgical calls per month included in salary, with opportunities for additional compensated call shifts

Qualifications

• Current Arizona Physician Assistant license (or eligibility)
• Graduation from an accredited PA program
• General surgery or colorectal experience preferred, but motivated new graduates with strong surgical interest are encouraged to apply
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $110,000+ depending on experience
• $10,000 signing bonus
