At Esperanza - A Fresh Start For Homeless Veterans, we believe that the journey of care begins with the very first interaction. As our Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the welcoming face and voice that greets our nation's heroes when they walk through our doors or call seeking assistance.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, respectful environment for all Veterans and visitors
• Greet each person with warmth and genuine appreciation for their service
• Answer and direct phone calls with patience and professionalism
• Assist Veterans with questions, helping them navigate their visit
• Perform essential clerical tasks, including typing, filing, event sign and calendar making, and data entry
• Manage office supplies and equipment to ensure smooth operations
• Support the administrative needs of our team so we can focus on providing excellent care
• Reach out to donor groups and coordinate donations

What We're Looking For

• A compassionate individual with exceptional customer service skills
• Proficiency with computers and modern office systems, including Excel, Word, Teams, and Canva
• Clear, respectful communication and excellent phone etiquette
• Strong organizational abilities to maintain both paper and electronic files
• Attention to detail and efficiency in typing and data entry
• Understanding of office management procedures
• Previous experience in behavioral health reception is valued but not required
• Respect for Veterans' privacy (HIPPA) rights
• Most importantly: a genuine desire to serve those who have served our country
