Manufacturing Supervisor
The Manufacturing Supervisor will oversee a team of Manufacturing Leads and Operators at our energetic manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for all downstream operations following propellant processing, including subassembly integration, motor assembly, inspection coordination, documentation control, packaging, and delivery preparation. The Supervisor ensures that safety, scheduling, planning, training, personnel management, and financial objectives are achieved. This position reports to the Operations Manager.

Key responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of Manufacturing Leads and Operators, ensuring efficient and compliant execution of daily build activities
Supervise the day-to-day operations of assigned programs and subassemblies
Uphold a strong safety culture by enforcing PPE usage and immediately addressing unsafe conditions
Execute the plant master schedule and ensure alignment with site-level delivery commitments
Conduct daily stand-ups and assign work based on build priorities and resource availability
Review each job for unique requirements, verify sequencing, confirm personnel capability, and training readiness
Ensure adherence to all procedures, quality requirements, and documentation standards
Report unplanned events immediately to plant management and HESS as required
Assess and mitigate schedule risks for each job and communicate impacts to leadership
Ensure proper progression of builds from receipt through integration, inspection, packaging, and shipment readiness
Maintain visible floor presence to monitor workflow, remove barriers, and reinforce execution discipline
Oversee structured training progression and ensure competency documentation is current and accurate
Provide learning and growth opportunities for operations personnel and Manufacturing Leads
Address interpersonal and performance issues in a timely and professional manner, involving HR and senior leadership as needed
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by documenting and implementing efficiency improvements
Track and report production Key Performance Indicators related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and training
Enforce a culture of accountability, safety, and disciplined execution while embodying the company's core values of Dedication, Precision, and Care
