Travel Med-Surg RN (Adult & Pediatric) - $2,435 per week

Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Fort Defiance, Arizona.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: Med Surg
• Discipline: RN
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, days, nights, rotating
• Employment Type: Travel

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Experience: Three (3) years of med-surg experience, 1 year pediatric experience required, MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH BOTH ADULT AND PEDIATRIC PATIENTS
• Required Certifications: American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS is required
• Shift: 12 hour shifts, (Shift will be assigned) but must be flexible to work other shifts, weekends and holidays, as needed
• Travelers are expected to attend staff meetings
• Travelers are occasionally expected to float to other departments in which they are qualified to work. This could include taking a patient load if experienced and competent in that setting or could be task-oriented such as answering call lights, phones, etc

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

• EXCELLENT Staffing Ratios: Non Covid: typically 4:1, max 5:1. Covid patients: typically 2:1, max 3:1
• Orientation: on Mondays only - If your traveler misses the compliance deadline, they will be pushed to the following scheduled New Employee Orientation
