Job Summary We are seeking a seasoned Tax Manager to join our growing public accounting practice. This critical role involves supervising and preparing complex tax returns, providing strategic tax planning, and managing essential client relationships. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise in public accounting, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to mentoring junior staff members. Key Responsibilities Supervise and review the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, LLCs, corporations, trusts, and estates. Provide high-level tax planning, consulting, and compliance services to clients. Cultivate, develop, and maintain strong, trust-based client relationships. Mentor, train, and provide constructive feedback to staff tax preparers and accountants. Manage workflow efficiency to ensure all filing deadlines are met with high accuracy. Qualifications Minimum of 6 years of recent tax preparation and review experience in a public accounting setting. Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required. High proficiency with MS Excel and Word; experience with GoSystem Tax (Fast Tax) software is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent organizational abilities and sharp attention to detail.
