Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 (Arizona nursing jobs)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2020 - $2070
• Facility: Community hospital, 171 beds, Joint Commission Accredited
• Unit: Med/Surg Telemetry (40 beds)
• Assignment Start Date: January 12, 2026
• Assignment End Date: April 13, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour days (07:00-19:00), 36 hours/week
• Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Float Requirement: May float to IMC (Intermediate Care) or ED (Emergency Department) as needed
• Call Requirement: No scheduled call; may flex to on-call up to 2 times during contract
• Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Electronic Health Record: Medhost

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (ADN required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience
• Recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Ability to manage a 6-patient assignment in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Preceptor and charge nurse experience preferred
• Strong clinical skills, compassionate and adaptable personality
• Black scrubs required (top and bottom); closed-toe shoes only

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to telemetry data for cardiac patients
• Care for patients with total joint replacements, post-surgical care, ACS, CHF, CKD, alcohol withdrawal, SIRS, GI bleeds, and acute on chronic medical conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to Intermediate Care (IMC) or Emergency Department (ED) as needed
• Utilize Baxter IV pumps, Posey bed/chair alarms, Omnicel drug dispensing cabinets, and Zoll defibrillators
• Document all patient care activities in the Medhost EHR system
