**Job Title: Painter** **Job Description** As a Painter, you will be responsible for painting components in accordance with the Component Maintenance Manual. Your duties will include prepping and removing damage, taping areas that should not be painted, and applying primer and top coat. You will also maintain records of paint room consumables and ensure all required tooling and safety equipment are in proper condition. **Responsibilities** + Repair damage to all components before painting. + Prep and paint all components in line with the Component Maintenance Manual and customer requests. + Maintain all tooling and safety equipment related to the paint room. + Record and track inventory of all consumables used in the paint room. + Ensure the shelf life of all required consumables in the paint room is maintained. **Essential Skills** + Experience in painting, preferably in aerospace or industrial settings. + Strong attention to detail. + Organizational skills. + Safety-minded approach. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in an aerospace environment is preferred. + No tools required, but safety glasses and safety shoes (composite or steel toed) are necessary. **Why Work Here?** We offer a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with matching, dental, health, and life insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and vision insurance, all designed to support your well-being and professional growth. **Work Environment** This position is based in a shop located in Phoenix, equipped with swamp coolers and fans to ensure a comfortable indoor environment. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 4 pm. Physical demands are typical of a painting role, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.50/hr.
