Summary
- Curriculum Delivery: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the academic standards and spiritual objectives of the Academy.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a structured and respectful classroom environment that promotes learning and discipline, encouraging positive behavior and academic success.
- Food Service: Clean and sanitize tables to prep for Breakfast, lunch snacks.Make sure children wash hands before and after each meal.
- Instruction: Teach assigned subjects, ensuring that students understand and master key concepts. Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Spiritual Guidance: Integrate biblical principles into daily lessons and classroom activities to encourage spiritual development and a deeper understanding of Christian values.
- Assessment: Evaluate student progress through tests, assignments, and observations. Provide timely feedback to students and parents regarding performance and growth.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, staff, and administration to ensure consistency in educational practices and a supportive learning environment.
- Parent Communication: Communicate regularly with parents about student performance, behavior, and spiritual growth. Attend parent-teacher conferences and other school events.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
- Safety and Well-being: Ensure the safety and well-being of all students, adhering to school policies and procedures regarding health, safety, and child protection.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, minimum of 2 years working in a licensed childcare facility as a qualified teacher, CDA, Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
- Experience: Previous experience teaching in a Christian school or setting (preferred but not required).
- Skills: Strong classroom management skills, ability to differentiate instruction, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Faith: A strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to living and modeling Christian values both in and out of the classroom (preferred but not required).
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students to excel both academically and spiritually.
- Ability to create a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Flexibility and adaptability in teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
