Position Summary

AIS is seeking experienced Data Center Electricians to support the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of electrical systems within data center and mission-critical facilities. This position requires extensive travel and the ability to work in fast-paced construction environments while maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Install conduit, cable tray, and electrical raceway systems.

  • Pull and terminate power and control wiring.

  • Install switchgear, transformers, panelboards, UPS systems, and backup power equipment.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, and electrical drawings.

  • Assist with equipment startup, testing, and commissioning activities.

  • Install grounding and bonding systems.

  • Maintain compliance with NEC standards and project specifications.

  • Work collaboratively with project managers, foremen, and other trades.

  • Follow all company and site-specific safety requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.

  • Previous data center, mission-critical, or industrial construction experience preferred.

  • Ability to read electrical drawings and specifications.

  • Knowledge of NEC codes and safety regulations.

  • Experience with conduit bending, cable pulling, and equipment installation.

  • ​​​​​​​An active Journeyman's Electrician's License in the State of Work.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.

  • Ability to travel extensively for project assignments.

  • ​​​​​​​National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70E – Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to stand, climb ladders, and work in various construction environments.

  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as required by project schedules.
