The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for providing excellent customer experiences by creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers through their eagerness to help, in-depth product knowledge, high brand and execution standards, and efficient execution of Front-End operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting everyone (teammates and customers) and proactively approaching customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
• Serving as the primary customer service provider at the front end and liaison between customers and management.
• Providing register coverage as needed and ensuring strong customer service standards are met by supporting cashiers through complex transactions.
• Assisting manager with department scheduling, directing workflow, daily associate assignments, and monitoring department presentation standards; monitoring Front End associates to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
• Upholding company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards, etc.
• Promoting and providing training to new and current teammates on company programs (i.e., customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment, etc.).
• Adhering to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures. Maintaining confidentiality of all Company information.
• Creating an inclusive store environment where everyone (teammates and customers) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.
• Taking an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Performing other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
