**Boeing Defense, Space & Security** has an exciting opportunity **for** a **Senior NDT Quality Test** **Specialist** to join the Quality team in **Mesa, AZ!**
This position will be working in a dynamic team supportive team within Air Dominance Proprietary within a shop floor environment using automated and traditional systems, evaluating collected data, making accept/reject decisions. Ideal candidates will have the ability to interpret blueprint requirements and have the capability of supporting and/or developing inspection procedures. Successful candidates will have experience in NAS410 standard, be an effective communicator, and be able to work across multiple diverse functions, including partnering with engineering teams.
**This position requires the candidate to hold current or recently current (within the last 18 months) NAS410 NDT certification Level III in a minimum of one of the following methods: Ultrasonic (UT) or Radiography (RT).**
**Employees will be required to obtain a minimum of Level III certification in UT or RT method. Failure to achieve or maintain the required certifications may lead to termination of employment.**
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Advises on advanced technology in non-destructive instrumentation and inspection principles, processes and techniques.
+ Guides implementation of advanced inspection or test techniques.
+ Develops innovative test processes and equipment.
+ Consults suppliers and customers to resolve technical issues involving tests, processes and equipment.
+ Develops principles and methods for analyzing test, inspection or statistical data.
+ Consults on corrective action to resolve process or product anomalies.
+ Participates on enterprise and industry teams to influence the standardization and regulation of training and certification requirements **.**
**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**
+ Currently hold or previously held (last 18 months) NAS410 Certified Level III in Ultrasonic (UT) or Radiographic (RT) method
+ More than 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
+ More than 5 years of experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test)
+ More than 3 years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical publications and/or specifications
+ Experience in aerospace manufacturing or manufacturing support
**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**
+ **Level 5** : More than 10 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Active U.S. Security Clearance
+ Current or recently held (in the last 18 months) NAS410 Certified Level III in one or more NDT methods (Radiography (RT), Eddy Current (ET), Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle (MT)
+ More than 3 years of experience with aerospace Non-Destructive Testing
+ More than 3 years of experience performing Non-Destructive Testing on composite parts
+ Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard

Summary pay range for senior level (Level 4): USD 97,900 - 124,600
Summary pay range for senior level (Level 5): USD 113,300 - 144,200
