About Us:

Zoom Drain Phoenix East Valley is a licensed Zoom Drain franchise serving the Southeast Phoenix metro area. We specialize in residential and commercial drain and sewer services and are seeking a licensed plumber to serve as our Qualifying Party (QP) to help us meet AZ ROC requirements and maintain high standards of work and compliance.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a licensed plumber in the State of Arizona to act as our QP on a part-time basis. This position requires an individual who meets the Arizona Registrar of Contractors’ (AZ ROC) requirements and will provide ongoing supervisory oversight and technical guidance for our field technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the listed QP on our Arizona contractor’s license

• Oversee the quality and compliance of drain cleaning, inspection, and sewer repair work

• Provide training and supervision to technicians on best practices and applicable codes

• Assist in hiring of technicians by providing a technical screening of qualified candidates

• Conduct periodic site visits and documentation reviews (remote or in-person)

• Maintain awareness of AZ ROC rules and code requirements relevant to our scope

• Remain available for consultation during business hours

• Notify company with advance notice (minimum 30 days) if stepping down as QP

Requirements:

• Active Arizona plumbing license in good standing (CR-37)

• At least 4 years of verifiable experience in the trade with experience specifically with drain/sewer cleaning and clearing including the use of electric snakes, high-power water jetters, inspection cameras, etc.

• Must meet all eligibility requirements to serve as a QP per A.R.S. § 32-1122

• Willingness to serve as a W-2 part-time employee

• Strong communication and organizational skills

Schedule:

Flexible hours. Estimated 5–10 hours/month depending on business volume and needs. We ask you to attend our weekly staff meetings either in person or remotely where you can provide guidance, training, insight, or answer questions. Beyond our weekly meetings, we may call upon you for occasional consultations or to review work done that is beyond basic cleaning such as sewer replacements/installs.
