This position, based onsite near Phoenix, AZ, is designed for educators with expertise in self-contained behavioral classrooms, particularly those supporting students with autism or those needing structured, intensive support.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Standard Arizona Secondary Teaching License.
• Possess a current K-12 Special Education Certificate.
• Possess an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Demonstrated experience working with students with emotional disabilities or students who require social and self-regulatory support.
• Proficient in developing and implementing special education services and related documents aligned with federal, state, and district standards.
• Familiarity with, or willingness to participate in, Essential Elements of Effective Instruction (E.E.E.I.) training.
• Awareness of the diverse needs of at-risk, ELL, and exceptional students.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead self-contained classrooms for students with behavioral needs, focusing on structured, supportive environments.
• Design and deliver individualized instruction to meet a range of eligibility areas and student needs.
• Collaborate with school teams and families to develop personalized education plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with all regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in professional development to continually enhance instructional practices.
• Support students’ academic, emotional, and social growth within a positive, inclusive environment.
