About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Room required License: Valid Registered Nurse license required Certifications: - BLS - ACLS - PALS - NIHSS - De-escalation certification (MAB, CPI, MOAB, etc.) required Must-Have: - Experience in a large, urban, fast-paced Emergency Department with significant volume - Experience with ventilated patients - Level 1 trauma experience preferred - EPIC charting system experience required - Must be willing to float to sister locations - Every other weekend coverage with four weekend shifts per contract - Patient ratio of 1:5 - Daily visits of approximately 210 Description: Join a dynamic team in the Emergency Room. This position requires a strong background in emergency nursing. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in managing a high volume of patients. Experience with ventilated patients is essential. The Emergency Room operates with a staff ratio of 1:5. Weekend coverage is required, with commitment to four weekend shifts within the contract duration. This role necessitates maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment with diverse patient cases. Support for Patient Care Technicians and Medics is included in the role. Successful candidates will also have substantial experience in trauma care. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative and high-stakes setting. Preference will be given to those with Level 1 trauma center experience. Candidates must be adaptable and ready to assist in various capacities as needed.
