The Role

The Social Media Coordinator will support Flower Mill’s social media and content engine. This is a hands-on role for someone who is organized, creative, eager to learn, and comfortable helping with a mix of content planning, posting, community engagement, on-site content capture, and creator support.

You do not need to be a senior strategist. We need someone who can help keep things moving, stay on top of details, and turn everyday product, team, customer, and launch moments into useful content.

Responsibilities

• Support the weekly social media calendar.
• Help draft captions, hooks, story copy, and short-form post ideas.
• Schedule and publish posts across key platforms.
• Help capture simple photo/video content at our Phoenix office/warehouse.
• Assist with product launch content, behind-the-scenes content, customer stories, and educational posts.
• Monitor comments, DMs, tags, and customer questions.
• Help organize social assets, raw footage, edited clips, and creator content.
• Track creator and affiliate posts.
• Pull basic social performance numbers for weekly/monthly recaps.
• Support the marketing team with content ideas, research, and coordination.

What We’re Looking For

• 0–2 years of social media, content, marketing, creator, or brand experience.
• Based in Phoenix or able to work regularly from our Phoenix office/warehouse.
• Strong interest in social media, short-form content, brands, and product storytelling.
• Good writing instincts for captions, hooks, and simple social copy.
• Comfortable using Instagram, TikTok/Reels, Stories, and basic social tools.
• Organized, reliable, and able to follow through on details.
• Willing to learn, take feedback, and improve quickly.
• Comfortable helping capture simple content on-site when needed.

Nice to Have

• Experience creating content for a brand, personal page, creator, student org, small business, or ecommerce company.
• Basic photo/video capture skills.
• Light editing ability in CapCut, Canva, Instagram, TikTok, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Google Drive, Asana, Canva, Sprout, Later, Buffer, or similar platforms.
• Interest in consumer products, product education, lifestyle brands, or cannabis-adjacent categories.

Success Looks Like

Within the first 90 days, Flower Mill has more consistent posting support, better organized social assets, faster content turnaround, stronger community engagement, and more everyday moments being captured and turned into usable content.
