Remx is seeking to assist our client in finding their next experience Pharmacy Technician for their infusion clinic.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

TITLE: Pharmacy Technician

· Infusion experience a PLUS!!

· Varied experience with some combination of retail, hospital, compound, and infusion

· Comfortable with communicating with physicians.

· Strong with calculations.

Pay range: $25-$26/hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Shift: 8am-4:30pm

Location: Onsite

· Work Location: Mesa, AZ 85205

Training:

· Training Length: 2 weeks

· Training Address: Phoenix, AZ 85050

SUMMARY:

The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for the accurate entry and verification of all prescription drug data components associated with a physician referral. Primary point of contact for physician’s offices and will collaborate with them both via fax and phone calls to obtain all necessary prescription data components.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Process prescriptions (handwritten and electronic) into the EMR and ensure all data components are entered accurately and completely

Verify the accuracy of previously entered prescriptions and ensuring all necessary labs and clinical documentation has been obtained

Partner with physicians’ offices to obtain missing components of prescriptions/referrals

Partner with the Intake team to assist in the submission of Prior Authorization requests from insurance

Answer questions of physicians, pharma, and patients via phone calls

WHAT YOU HAVE:

Certified Pharmacy Technician with the state of AZ

National PTCB Certification

High School Diploma or GED

Ability to work onsite in Mesa, AZ and interview/complete 2 weeks of training in Phoenix, AZ

Infusion experience

Varied experience with some combination of retail, hospital, compound, and infusion

Comfortable communicating with Pharmacist and Physician

Comfortable with calculations

Typing skills: 40 WPM
