front desk coordinator
We are looking for a front office coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will handle a variety of front desk responsibilities, including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing records and supporting unscheduled treatments. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will help ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience from check in to check out. In addition to answer the phones and addressing patient inquiries, you will maintaining a positive and professional atmosphere. If you have a passion for helping others and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love for you to join us.
Responsibilities:
Welcome patients. Answering phone calls, photocopying, filling and faxing paperwork. Scheduling or cancelling appointments. Verifying payment methods and collecting money as necessary. Supporting past due recall and unscheduled treatments. Team player by assisting any other front desk member with administrative responsibilities.
Requirements:
GED or high school diploma. Working experience in a dental office is required. Dental terminology is well versed. Dental practice management software expert (Dentrix). Working understating of administrative procedures in general. Telephone etiquette is a must. Outstanding organizational abilities. Outstanding customer service.
