About being our Field Land Surveyor / Party Chief

As our Field Land Surveyor/Party Chief , you will be responsible for completion of daily scheduled tasks in an outdoor setting while using modern field survey tools. You will have the opportunity to participate in different types of field work and develop your skills in boundary identification, right-of-way monumentation, design surveys, construction staking, topographic mapping, and ALTA surveys of real property.

Responsibility Highlights for our Field Land Surveyor / Party Chief

• Utilizing and operating all types of survey instruments and equipment
• Acquiring and applying standard note-keeping & sketching methods
• Preparing total station, GPS base, and other supplies for daily staking tasks
• Understanding and applying proper survey procedures as directed by project managers

Minimum Qualifications to be our Field Land Surveyor / Party Chief

• 3+ years relevant experience in Land Surveying
• High School diploma or equivalent
• An understanding of Geometric and Trigonometric mathematical principles
• Experience using data collectors/controllers in conjunction with GPS receivers and robotic total stations
• Valid AZ driver's license and clean driving record
• Willingness to travel out of town for projects as this position may at times require travel to other cities or counties in AZ
• Physically capable of working outdoors in all types of terrain and varying weather conditions for up to 12 hours a day
• Ability to sit, stand, kneel, walk, crawl, climb, swing, chop, dig, lift and carry up to 80 lbs. for distances up to 100 ft. over uneven terrain
