Component Assembler

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Component Assembler to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, and testing components to ensure they meet quality standards. This role requires precision, technical skills, and the ability to follow detailed instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical, electrical, or electronic components according to blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
• Inspect parts and assemblies for defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery safely and efficiently.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines at all times.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Document assembly activities, including any discrepancies or defects.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot assembly issues and improve processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or electronics preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and reliability.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Lift and carry up to [insert weight, e.g., 25 lbs] as needed.
• Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing or production floor setting.
• Exposure to machinery, tools, and moderate noise levels.
• Adherence to safety protocols is required.
