The AGNP will provide comprehensive care for adult and geriatricpatients, managing chronic and acute conditions. Requirements:
- Graduatefrom an approved Nurse Practitioner school.
- NursePractitioner certificate issued by the Arizona Board of Nursing.
- ValidArizona Registered Nurse license.
- ValidArizona Advanced Practice license.
- ValidDEA certificate.
- CurrentBasic Life Support certification.
- Certificationin CPR and AED through American Heart Association or Red Cross guidelines.
- ValidLevel One Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of PublicSafety (for behavioral health locations).
- ValidArizona driver’s license.
- Experiencetreating adults with chronic and acute conditions.
- Understandingof clinical methods and techniques.
- Stronginterpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients,associates, and the general public.
- Basicproficiency in business English, spelling, and punctuation.
- Basiccomputer efficiency and comfort with electronic health record systems.
- Experiencein geriatrics or with patients who have multiple chronic conditions.
- Abilityto work autonomously and make sound clinical decisions.
- Ademonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning.
