Valley Behavioral Health Hospital – Phoenix, AZ – Now Hiring!Valley Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented PRN (as needed - weekdays) Inpatient Therapist to join our team!

The Inpatient Therapist performs social services and psychotherapy functions to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while providing assessment, diagnosis, and psychotherapy treatment of individuals, couples, families, and groups to assist patient's in achieving their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic consultation, psycho-education, complete specialized clinical psychotherapy services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, short-term family therapy, and providing information and referrals as needed.

Location: 3550 East Pinchot Avenue, Phoenix, AZ

• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Counseling, Social Work, or a clinical related mental health field required.
• A minimum of two (2) years experience in behavioral health with direct experience in family, group, and individual therapy, crisis intervention, treatment skills, and strong clinical assessment skills preferred.
• Arizona licensure in counseling, social work, or clinical related mental health field preferred.

We would love it if you have:

* Specialized training or certification in a therapeutic skill or treatment area that is utilized by the hospital is preferred.

*CPR certification and management of aggressive behavior (Handle with Care) training within 30 days of employment and prior to assisting in a restraining procedure.
