Host - Hostess
Night Owl Pizza & Drinks in South Scottsdale is hiring hosts/hostesses. We’re looking for 2 years of relevant work experience. We require a sense of urgency, excellent communication skills, and an ability to stay organized and calm. We promote positivity, play great music, have a fun work environment, and aim to be part of this thriving community. Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with warmth and efficiency
- Manage waitlists and reservations using Toast Waitlist
- Keep the host stand and entrance organized and inviting
- Anticipate guest needs and communicate clearly with FOH and BOH teams
- Answer guest questions about the menu, venue, and current events
- Support floor team by helping reset tables and maintain flow during peak hours
- Take phone to go orders and interact with delivery drivers
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards
- 2+ years of host/hostess or guest services experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Calm under pressure and able to prioritize in a busy service setting
- Positive attitude and team-first mentality
- Basic familiarity with POS systems and waitlist management tools (Toast preferred)
- Availability for at least 3 shifts per week, including weekends
- $12–$15/hr base pay (based on experience) + tips ($4–$12/hr average additional)
