Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Arizona Standard Secondary Teaching Certificate
• Arizona Special Education (SPED) licensure
• Valid IVP fingerprint card
• Proven success implementing Math instruction in inclusive or special education settings
• Experience as a co-teacher or in a dual-certified teaching model is highly valued
• Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with general education staff and specialized teams
• Committed to providing equitable access to rigorous curriculum for all students

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-teach Math courses alongside another educator, sharing instructional planning and classroom leadership
• Differentiate lessons to address the needs of students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Assess and monitor student progress, using data to adjust teaching strategies
• Cultivate an inclusive classroom climate that respects all abilities and backgrounds
• Communicate regularly with parents, service providers, and colleagues to promote student success
• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations and documentation
