Overview

The Project Manager serves as the primary project owner and Customer advocate throughout the full lifecycle of custom millwork projects, including wood doors, mouldings, and architectural millwork. This role is responsible for ensuring a seamless, high-quality Customer experience by managing communication, coordination, and execution from project initiation through final delivery and installation. This position pays a base salary of $50,000.00/year plus commission. Uncapped commissions estimated $15,000+ in the first year.

Acting as the central point of contact, the Project Manager builds and maintains strong Customer relationships while collaborating closely with internal Production, Delivery, and Installation teams. This position ensures that all project details are clearly defined, accurately executed, and aligned to Customer expectations, timelines, and quality standards.

This is a highly project management-driven role requiring strong ownership, proactive communication, and the ability to drive accountability across multiple teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, detail oriented environment and is committed to delivering exceptional outcomes.

Duties

• Coordinate pricing, estimates, and buy-out product procurement as needed.
• Work with vendors and internal Purchasing departments to ensure accurate and timely pricing.
• Support order entry, documentation, and configuration accuracy.
• Ensure all materials, components, and specifications are aligned prior to production release.
• Maintain organized records of pricing, purchasing, and vendor communications.
• Ensure all project billing milestones are tracked and executed in alignment with contract terms and billing schedules.
• Coordinate with the Accounting department to confirm billing readiness and ensure invoices are issued accurately and on time.
• Monitor projects through production, delivery, and installation to ensure quality standards are met.
• Coordinate scheduling and logistics to align with Customer and project timelines.
• Confirm readiness for installation, including materials, documentation, and site coordination.
• Support resolution of field issues, service items, or warranty concerns as needed.
• Ensure smooth project closeout, including documentation and final billing accuracy.
• Track project progress against billing schedules to ensure timely invoicing at each project milestone.
• Provide clear, consistent, and professional communication with both Customers and internal teams.
• Drive accountability across all stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
• Maintain visibility into all active projects and communicate status updates proactively.
• Escalate critical issues or delays in a timely manner.
