Step into an impactful role supporting student success in a full-time, onsite Special Education Math Co-Teaching position for the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity will have you collaborating closely with a team of educators to foster growth in both general and special education students in a dynamic classroom near Chandler, AZ. Your background in Special Education and mathematics will help drive meaningful change in students’ academic journeys.
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Standard Secondary Teaching Certificate
- Arizona Special Education Certification
- Active IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Demonstrated experience teaching Math in special education settings
- Ability to collaborate closely with co-teachers and school staff
- Committed to onsite presence every school day (remote work is not available)
- Strong communication, adaptability, and problem-solving skills
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Co-teach math classes, adapting curriculum to meet diverse learners’ needs
- Partner with fellow special education and general education professionals
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in your daily instruction
- Track student progress and provide timely feedback to students, families, and staff
- Create an inclusive, engaging environment where all students can thrive
- Participate in school meetings, training, and professional development
