Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Arizona Special Education Certification required
• Current IVP Fingerprint Card
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher, especially in middle school or resource settings, is highly valued
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach in working with students, families, and faculty
• Ability to create and adapt lesson plans according to each student's unique learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and resource support according to IEPs
• Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and classroom activities for inclusion
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and regularly communicate updates to families and staff
• Develop and implement behavior management plans when necessary
• Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment where every student can achieve their potential
• Comply with state and federal regulations regarding special education
