RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in Emergency Department providing comprehensive inpatient/outpatient emergency services
• Support patients of all ages and their families with diverse nursing care procedures
• Work independently while following physician orders and nursing policies
• RN license from any state is acceptable (Arizona license not required)
• Must maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from American Heart Association
• NRP certification required within one year of hire
• TNCC and ENPC certifications required within one year of hire
• NIH Stroke Scale must be completed within 6 months of hire
• Emergency Severity Index Level 5 required within 3 months of hire
• Patient Sitter Competency Training required upon hire
• Orientation provided every 2 weeks
• Housing application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start date
• Limited shared housing available at $600 per month (no family or pets allowed)

This JCAHO accredited healthcare facility serves a 4,400 square mile area and operates as a referral center for the western part of the Navajo and Hopi Reservations. The 73-bed hospital provides comprehensive medical services including emergency care, dental and ophthalmology services, orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral surgery, eye surgery, and urological procedures. The facility features a diverse medical staff including surgeons, specialists, family practice physicians, and comprehensive nursing teams, with approximately 49% of surgeries performed as outpatient procedures.
