Accounts Receivable Clerk
LHH is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk for an aviation-related organization in the Litchfield Park, Arizona area. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong cash application experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities- Apply customer payments accurately and timely through daily cash application activities
- Research and resolve unapplied cash, payment discrepancies, and account variances
- Process ACH, wire, credit card, and check payments
- Reconcile customer accounts and investigate outstanding balances
- Work closely with customers and internal departments to resolve billing and payment issues
- Assist with collections efforts and account follow-up as needed
- Maintain accurate records within the accounting system
- Support month-end close activities, reporting, and account reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
- Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience
- Hands-on cash application experience required
- Prior accounting experience within the aviation or aerospace industry strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of AR processes, account reconciliation, and payment research
- Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume workload while maintaining accuracy
